The up- and down-side of Quicksilver
I always used Quicksilver, I sticked with it from the beginning, even when it broke under Snow Leopard, I kept it running somehow. But I have to confess that I also tried all the others… Alfred, Launchbar, Google Quick Search Box - but they all failed because of missing simplicity or missing features. I am happy Quicksilver is back – it’s the best!

The problem Quicksilver has
The problem Quicksilver has is communicating it’s true nature. People need to understand better that it’s not just a, so called, App Launcher. It’s so much more: It’s a productivity suite, letting you control most of your tasks with just a few keyboard shortcuts.
Downside: understanding the vast of underlying features is a bit hard to find and the plugins are not documented very well inside the(ir) preferences.

Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.
